Last night we had the Pinewood Derby! I brought the camera, but it turned out not to have any batteries in it! So here is a picture of James earning his Bobcat and a beltloop before the derby. He did win 2 races, but lost 4 so he had a fun time overall. It's fun being one of his den leaders!

No News
Well, none of the jobs panned out, so we are back to square one. That's all for the job update.
I started a book club through church and we had our 3rd meeting today. I am very happy about it and I'm glad to have a book club to go to again. Last month we planned for the whole year, so it's pretty organized! I guess with the changes that were made about Enrichment activities the evening book club that the Relief Society sisters were going to has been canceled. I am not announcing mine during R.S. anymore, but I am not canceling it. I don't think we're allowed to go through church anymore with it with the new regulations. At least, our ward is like that.
James and Jonah celebrated their 8th and 7th birthdays with a Wii party at our home. We had 11 little boys running around the house and playing Wii for 2 hours last Saturday (the 9th). It was fun! James will be baptized February 6th at 2:00. I can't believe I have an 8 year old!
We have painted our dining room area, James and Jonah's bedroom, and our bathroom this year. We had to spruce it up in case we needed to sell our home, but now that we have painted it I really like it and don't want to move! I hope we can stay here! Luckily I already had the paint for all the rooms except for one and a friend let me have some of hers to do the dining room. I would have posted a picture except my camera is still not working even with new batteries.
I have applied to be a Youth Services Librarian at one of the libraries here. It's a full time job and I really, really hope I get it! Not that I want to work, but it would pay pretty good and we'd be really peachy until Matt found a job. I even went to the library to hand in a hard copy of my application (even though I had already one it online) and introduce myself to the library manager and the first person I talked to just happened to be the lady I wanted to see but didn't think I'd get to meet! She was glad I stopped by and told me it's easier if they have a name with a face when they're reviewing applications. We had a good conversation. I am really hoping I get it! :)
