Latest Happenings

We celebrated Kaylee's birthday last week. I can't believe how big she is getting! We also were fortunate to acquire a pumpkin this year to carve! I was kinda sad we wouldn't be able to buy one this year, but I volunteered at a pumpkin patch last week ( our ward sends volunteers to the pumpkin patch as service to the community) and they let me take home a pumpkin! We enjoyed carving it. I'll post pictures of the birthday and our pumpkin later. The camera batteries are dead right now.

As far as the job search goes, Matt has made it to the second and final phone interview with two companies, but neither one are in the KC metro area, so it looks like we will have to move...again. *sigh* We are tired of moving, but in this case we really don't have a choice. We have done all we could do to stay in this area, but I feel like we are meant to be somewhere else right now. It's just not happening here. I'll give locations of the jobs once one is final. I hate giving TMI on the internet!

The Job Search Begins...

We've applied to many, many jobs throughout the U.S. and I'm hoping the recruiters will pass along our resumes to the companies we are applying for. It seems like you have to send your application to a recruiter now and not the actual company for screening. One of the jobs was to the INL (Idaho National Laboratory) in Idaho Falls. If anyone has any connections up there to put in a good word for Matt please do! We'd move back up to IF/Rexburg if given the opportunity.

I just hate the waiting. It's driving me crazy.

Some Bad News

Matt no longer has a job. We are applying to jobs now, but the KC area isn't the most prolific at safety jobs.
